★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clock tower has been there for as long as I can remember. Dates back to the 1930s. Has been restored after the Christchurch earthquakes. It is the iconic Scarborough land mark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were going for a walk with friends coming from Taylor's Mistake and the Clock Tower was our point of rendez-vous ☺️?. There is plenty of parking spot around the Scarborough Field and from there you have access to the beach to go for a swim or for surfing. The Esplanade is a nice flat walking path towards Mount Pleasant.
