Good for a quick snack or something to pleasure your taste buds with.
Less ideal if you are looking for a filling meal that is bang for your buck.
Vegan option (the monk) is not clearly labelled on the menu, it would be advantageous if they did.
Overall good experience and glad they are open for business during alert level 3.

- The Monk w sesame sauce $16.50
We were super excited for these dumplings, partially because they were green and partially because dumplings are just amazing. These dumplings had super crispy bases and big chunks of shitake mushroom and bok Choy inside. I wish the bok choy was cut slightly smaller and there was more shitake mushroom, but overall it was really good. Our server recommended the sesame sauce to us and we were not disappointed. The sesame sauce was sweet and fragrant and I look forward to going back and trying some of the more original flavours.
Maybe not the most authentic dumplings but definitely still pretty tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn’t expect much but these dumplings turned out to be quite good! Freshly made to order so was a bit of a wait but totally worth it. Staff recommended the sesame sauce without hesitation and I could see why, it complemented these prawn dumplings so well!
Would love to try other flavours soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the hype and it was not bad. I can see why people rave about these if they have limited dumplings exposure growing up. It’s definitely fusion and “hipster” dumplings, not authentic. The dough is a bit thick and the pork filling was a bit dry. I did enjoy the water chestnuts for its crunch, and the crystallized ginger in the chilli sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As amazing as I remembered. I got the large pack with half beef & cheese and half pork n prawn. They are always consistent with the quality. The wrap to filling ratio is perfect. I also got the chicken & mushroom dumplings for my bestie & she loved them
