Superior Chunky is a Paeroa-based dog food company, specialising in the manufacture of quality, NZ made dog food, including dog meat rolls and dog meat treats.
About Superior Pet Food Co.
The business continued to do well, and began to offer a wider range of flavours of dog rolls, then in 2007 ‘Faulky’ retired and sold the business to John Taylor and Paul Larkman – the founding of Fond Foods 2007 Limited.
Soon after this, the Possyum dog roll was born out of Paul’s input and association with a tinned version of ‘Possyum’. Sadly, Paul passed away in 2017 but the legendary Possyum dog roll continues to grow, and the addition of Field & Forest Hypoallergenic continues to expand our range of dog rolls.
