Established in 2007 at our Woodward St location, we set out with a goal of providing the freshest sushi to the hungry citizens of Wellington.We don't do fancy eat in areas but we do have the most unique and authentic sushi merging traditional and contemporary flavours to create an authentic and unique menu which includes all your favourites alongside exciting new products that you won’t find anywhere else. β β β β β Tasty sushi, friendly staff and $5 end of day specials (prepacked selection), great for picking up dinner after work. I chose a pack with lots of teriyaki salmon nigiri, seaweed and chicken maki. All delicious, especially the salmon.
The shop is small, but it looks to cater to workers, not for dine-in patrons.

β β β β β Sushi a bit hit and miss. Great eel sushi in terms of flavour and texture, salmon was fresh and was enjoyable too, bad chicken roll with cold hard chicken, a few average selection too. A side note while the concept is "on the go" sushi, and while there is seating for ~ 2 in store, the concept isn't great for Wellington weather- plenty of benches outside but definitely not very enjoyable to eat with the usual wind of Wellington. The lack of seating does not in anyway reduce our recommendation for the place, it really is hit and miss and therefore ~3 stars for lack of consistency.
