★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Swanson School I had a great experience and all the Teachers were kind and helpful, we had roles for Students to take on to learn some life lessons and the Principal I had is a wonderful man and is fantastic at his job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son comes here and he absolutely loves it. Just like every kid school has there good and bad days but the teachers impact on the students lives at a young age. They become 2nd parents and so far my son has learnt a lot. Thank you Mrs Adams :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to go to this school back in the late nineties and early 2000s. I got bullied really badly. One day I got home and I was still crying, so my mum arranged a meeting with the principal. At this meet the principal said- and I paraphrase- "Well it seems to be mostly happening at lunch time, so we can't really do anything about that. You know, kids will be kids." and sent my mum on her way.
That was the first time I thought about suicide. I was 9.
I sincerely hope that the new principal is nicer than the old one. But if you for some reason still think that you can't do anything to stop bullying, or that 'kids will be kids' here are some suggestions:
Offer counselling at school (yes on your budget, every school should have a school councillor). Ask who is doing the bullying, and speak to their parents, and offer to send the bullies to counselling too, obviously the bullies are having issues too if they think it's ok to treat people that way. And notify the victim's teachers of what's happening, so the teacher can keep an eye out. If the child feels safer staying in the classroom at lunchtimes let them, don't force them out into the same yard that their abuser is in. Every school should have a comprehensive action plan to deal with bullying, you can't just sweep that under the rug.
Like I said I haven't been to this school for almost fifteen years, things may have changed, but from memory, this school is a 1/5 and I don't recommend sending your kid there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here as a visitor of the school and having been to so many schools, I must say this is one of the worst schools I have ever come across. The children do not listen, they are rude and have serious attitudes. However, the reasons why children behave like that are definitely because of the teachers. The staff were unhelpful, rude and the only thing they were interested in was having yarns with each other. The teachers definitely spoil the kids way too much, giving them what they want because they can’t be bothered dealing with them, therefore the children end up having no respect for adults at all. Principal there is horrible, he obviously has no clue what he is doing and what his school is like. Do not recommend sending your kids here, they will definitely end up with the wrong attitude in life because that’s how the teachers are like. This school doesn’t even deserve a one star review. Negative negative negative.

This school is fantastic! Great staff, Great students and Great management throught out the school. Students also recieve lots of oppotunities to build up their leadership e.g Road Patrol. This school is highly recommended for parents looking to enrol their child into a school.
