β β β β β I live in Canterbury and I purchased an item on trademe from an Auckland trader which required a freight pickup. This was back in September (in the early phase of Auckland's regional lockdown). Two months later, after contacting a large number of Auckland freight companies, that had no ability, nor inclination it seemed, to do a 'cash sale/one off' pickup for this item, to get it to a nationwide haulage's Auckland depot on my behalf. But I chanced upon a recommendation to Swanson Transport (from another freight company!) that said "You need to phone Swanson Transport, they will sort out your problem, they are just great". And so a magic wand was seemingly waved and the impossible became an easy transaction. I cannot recommend Swanson Transport highly enough. Just brilliant. Thank you so much.
