About Tauranga Girls' College
Counsellors can provide advocacy support for members of our school community. Referral to community agencies can also be facilitated by the counselling staff if required.
Currently we have three guidance counsellors and students are able to choose who they wish to see. Contact details for each of the counsellors is below. All counsellors work within the guidelines of NZAC and are also registered teachers.

β β β β β I sent my son here and he said that he was sent home because a girl told him to eat the teachers white board pens. He also that same day, he took a shovel to school and started digging up the school field because he said that some guy that was from 1845 said there was a pot of gold burried there.

β β β β β This school is terrible! It's badly managed and teachers are more interested in punishing kids for wearing the incorrect shoes than addressing the toxic school culture of bullying and violence between the students.
