Tauranga Lawn Tennis Club is one of the longest established and most successful sports centres in Tauranga. With ten synthetic grass courts, all under floodlighting, it is possible to enjoy tennis on any day or evening of the week, all year round in Tauranga’s temperate climate.
Tauranga Lawn’s modern clubrooms are superb and include a spacious lounge, bar and outdoor deck area where players can relax and enjoy a drink and nibbles after tennis, and view the matches being played on the courts. From the lounge one looks out onto Tauranga Domain with its beautiful mature trees and recreational facilities. The club’s attractive and peaceful setting is admired and envied by many visiting players.
We offer a range of competitive and social club activities, and cater for all ages, from under 10s to over 80s. We welcome new members in all age groups. Our experienced club coach provides quality coaching for junior players, and is also available to help senior players to improve their game and gain confidence.
Visitors are welcome on payment of a modest fee.
