Where appropriate, patients can be seen without referral. However, we do not provide general dental care so after surgical treatment, patients are referred back to their general dental practitioner for ongoing dental care. For patients who come to see us without a general dental practitioner, we endeavour to assist them in finding a suitable local practitioner.

The scope of our specialist care extends to more complex surgery with procedures to eradicate jaw pathology such as cysts or tumours, surgery to correct facial deformity, jaw joint surgery and oral medicine.

David Chrisp from Tauranga OMS is, quite frankly, a professional drunk on power. His appalling treatment of those who have made the difficult decision to remain unvaxxinated - for pre existing conditions which are their business, and their business alone - is disgraceful. Potential future patients, attend this clinic at your own peril.

He was ill prepared for this meeting as he hadn’t even bothered to read her referral notes. He was rude, condescending and arrogant. This is not the behaviour I would expect from a medical practitioner.

I went to Hamilton Emergency Dentists and they operated with local anaesthetic only within 3 days of making the appointment.

My experience was amazing, and I'm so grateful and happy about how easy, smooth and painless it was. I was treated with compassion, kindness and patience even though I was asking lots of questions, and all my questions were answered and everything was explained properly to me... I was particularly worried about sedation as I don't really like "blackouts" and feeling unwell afterwards, and didn't want anything to go wrong with me, but it was all good, sedation was nice, my head was clear, I didn't feel unwell at all and also didn't need any pain killers after the operation... Big Thank you to the team, the surgeon, assistants, receptionists. And John Bridgman being the best dental surgeon I've ever came across, he actually operated on 2 of my kids before and the experience was brilliant as well, every time. Would definitely recommend.
