β β β β β One of the best things we did while in Franz - highly recommend booking with Jan for this. Everything is really relaxed and you don't feel rushed at all - from selecting your own stone to learning how to use the equipment to create your own carving - everything was fantastic. Love our creations so much, and learnt so much - loved it!

β β β β β Absolutely brilliant. Our kids (9years up) loved it and are so proud of the greenstone they carved, we adults are too :-). Jan was a wonderful teacher, very patient, helpful and an obviously highly skilled carver. We highly recommend this as an experience that you can keep with you forever.

β β β β β What a fantastic experience! The owners were so warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated that they took us last minute for a same-day booking. We loved being able to make our own pieces, and enjoyed getting a deeper insight into the jade carving process. And to top it all off, there were two sweet, friendly dogs to play with! If/when our friends and family get to come visit, we'll definitely bring them here.

You learn so much about the beautiful stone and itβs history and if thatβs not enough you get to carve it with your own two hands. Jan and Mike are just two beautiful souls who love what they do and love sharing it with people.This can be fun or an spiritual experience for you. Support Local and give this a go.
