★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting building, unfortunately the guided tour we booked didn't happen as the alternative guide wasn't available due to a meeting. Little bit disappointing... although the lady on reception tried to rescue us by giving us heaps of information for a self-guided tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try and get here for lunch whenever I am in Whakatane. The food is great here, and I can tell a lot of love goes into the preparation. The setting is peaceful and quiet. The staff are friendly and always make me feel welcome.
