Always go for bucket meal which is enough for a small family.
It is truly mouth watering when we think about their unique marinated, crunchy & crispy bone In chicken pieces. Must try mealβ¦

β β β β β We always go to Texas when we crave for spicy food. Last night we got served by Tony. Great service and we got food delivered to our table. 5 stars for that service and for the fresh food as always. Keep the good work team.

β β β β β Good service and much nicer chicken than kfc. The chips are much better also, not soggy.
Give them a try you will be pleased.
Only down side is there small flimsy drink containers. Being straight up. Regular customer now ?

β β β β β Good fried chicken but I warn you, the spicy chicken is no joke. It's VERY spicy, almost straight up cayenne pepper.
Portion sizes are ok. The sides that come with the family meals are very small. Like a tablespoon of coleslaw for each person in a family of 4. The coleslaw is really good so it's disappointing.
For the price, you would expect larger portions especially when you order a "family" meal. The chicken at least fills everyone up when we order. Fries are better than most fast food places around, they have a crispy goodness to them (just don't let them sit too long-they do not taste the same if you wait too long to eat them). The biscuits remind me of back home- I always get the honey butter biscuits (not sure if biscuits are a Kiwi favourite, but I love them!). Again, my one complaint is how expensive it is. It would be nice if they had special promo code offers, cheaper add on items, or sides that are proportionate to the meal size being offered.

β β β β β Putting my order in I made mention that last time my chicken was dry hoping it would be fresher and moist.
Unfortunately dry this time as well.
I will keep on coming back I must strike it lucky soon as the first time I had Texas Chicken ( they had just opened) it was absolutely delicious.

β β β β β Went to texas chicken second time here. This time they FINALLY got the order right. Only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because I tried the new brioche burger. It looked so bloody sad. The spicy mayo sauce with pickles did not agree me as they clashed. If it was normal spicy fillet, normal mayo and pickles that's fine. But since it was spicy mayo the acidity of the pickles clashed with the spice. But that's just me.
Edit: Response- Hi owner, thank you responding. In your very honest opinion does that photo look appealing to you or would you go for the other photo? I've had a burger from your menu 2 weeks ago, let me tell you, it looked 100% better than this. I've worked for kfc for 2 years many years ago and let me tell you I made the burgers as close to the picture as possible. Its not hard to make a burger look good.
