About TGA BOX Health & Fitness
The story began in 2001 at the Wharepai domain in Tauranga central, when Chris Walker a former boxer and boxing coach from Rotorua set up the Tauranga Boxing Gym.
It was a small facility that offered boxing fitness and boxing technique classes to the good people of Tauranga. The word spread and the gym quickly grew in members as the benefits of boxing training delivered by qualified coaches became evident. The gym was producing happy members as well as successful international boxers. In 2008, Chris Walker opened TGA Box Health and Fitness, and in 2017 opened Te Puke Box Gym; both full-facility gyms that specialise in boxing and boxing fitness, catering for people who want to get in shape and lose weight, utilising the sweet science of boxing.

Other than that, I love it. I love the boxing classes, I love the vibe. Great gym, great facilities. Always clean.

IR sauna is there for extra cost (unless you get the full membership, then it comes free). Showers aren’t the best (low pressure), but not terrible. Free trial is available. Addictive way to get fit.

TGA BOX has everything you need , boxing bags, heavy bags, speed ball, jump ropes, a boxing ring, weights and cardio equipment.
