★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We couldn't find much cafes/bakeries that were open on waitangi weekend and didn't help we were from auckland but the ladies were very lovely, I ordered the two chicken and chips, two pieces of fish and a egg sandwich. Everything was very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember walking into the bathroom here as a child and seeing one of the workers on the toilet. They forgot to lock the door... thought things might be better years later but I don't know if that's the case. Pastry of the pies can be undercooked in the morning and workers are constantly touching food with their bare hands in the cabinets ? during covid times too
