Such an awesome spot! Love the outdoor are round the back cause there's not really any other place in Ponsonby that has something like that! The staff is great and the food is super creative, (Cheeseburger Spring Rolls... What??) Cocktails are next level too! Big Recommend!

This spot is my new after work favorite. Best thing to hit Ponsonby in some time. The drinks list is unbeatable... From a great range of local craft beers, to meticulously designed whiskey and gin cocktails, and a well versed selection of wines. The food is all awesome too. The smash burgers are a real stand out. Best burgers in the city. The staff are all very welcoming and do a great job of guiding you through the menu. Love the decor. Legitimately feels like you're having a drink/food in Manhattan.

Really great service from the staff. When we were outside on a colder night, they sorted us out with blankets and hot water bottles and then organized us with a table inside when one became available. Good atmosphere inside the bar and service continued to be excellent even with the place being busy

Some of the best service I have had across the industry. Staff really understands what customer experience is. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I love places where the staff knows the finer details across their drinks/food range to help you pick. Good choices on the rotating craft taps as well. Love the randomly working lantern out front. Beautiful touch and gave me a chuckle. Bench seats inside were surprisingly comfortable as well.

Fantastic bar with a very unique style. Great food menu providing lots of choice at a reasonable price. Never ending drinks list with the best cocktail variety in Ponsonby. Friendly and knowledgeable staff - if you can’t figure out what you want just ask and you won’t be disappointed!

We had Bacon BBQ Smashed Burger, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Fries. The burger tasted nothing like any other and the sauce used was so good. The wasabi mayo sauce was a perfect match with the chicken that was well fried, and Fries was my fav type of fries - skinny ones with a good portion. The artworks on the wall and the bar presentation added a great presence to the space! Very beautiful. I do must say that I was expecting a little quieter space based on the photos that are posted here, but it felt like any other normal places. Nothing wrong with it since it was my own expectation so giving a big thumb up overall ? I might visit again at night next time when it’s darker.

Great atmosphere, cool decorations and furniture, delicious food and amazing cocktails. We just celebrated our anniversary there yesterday evening and it was really good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Emma who helped me reschedule our booking via email in a speedy and efficient manner (I had been canceled on last minute at another restaurant we had booked 2 weeks prior for our anniversary) and found this one in an article of newly opened restaurants in Auckland and booked it online. The next day, when they were open they emailed me right away explaining they were closed on Easter Sunday but offered to accommodate us at another date and when I chose Saturday, explained it would be quite loud due to many group bookings and not as romantic as we might have hoped, which was totally fine. Loved they cared and took time to explain this. Excellent service). We drank cocktails: Lost In Translation and the Rum Garden Mojito, both super good. We ate 5 yummy dishes: - Kumara Bravas - Cheeseburger Spring Rolls - Grilled Broccolini - 250gr Scotch Fillet - Croquettes All the perfect amount and so tasty. Highly recommend this place.

Cool place! They have created a beautiful space with an extensive drinks menu and delicious food. We visited on a Saturday night and luckily nabbed one of the last tables. With the number of people in there and the DJ playing, I found the noise level just too loud if you want to have a conversation with everyone at your table. The drinks were beautiful, averaging around the $20 mark for cocktails. We had two pizzas costing $25 each, which were yummy; however, you felt a bit short-changed if you got the end pieces. We also got the fries which everyone on my table said tasted exactly like McDonald's fries- not a compliment seeing as they cost $10. Overall, I enjoyed the place, the service was excellent, and the food and beverages were good quality. It just might not be my go-to bar.
