★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in on our way back to Auckland. 3 adults and 5 children. No big tables inside so we had to sit outside. It was absolutely freezing. An older lady served us. When beginning our orders I said "it's a big order" and her response was "oh god". I also added a takeaway meal before we left and that same lady had another rude comment/reaction. Her attitude definitely set the tone for the whole experience. In saying that....food was average and costly . I would definitely prefer to try another restaurant/Cafe next time I'm in Dannevirke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for breakfast. The Hunters Breakfast was awesome, especially with black pudding. All meals were presented beautifully. The coffee was great and the staff were warm and welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice coffee but hey I don't want sugar in my coffee unless I ask. Others got their order the way they wanted it and complimented the coffee too. Coffee 5/5 ability to get order right, a begrudging 3/5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice fresh produce and nice staff.quick service and smiles all around - behind masks of course. All items in the cabinets seem supersized. Should have shared my muffin with the wife it was very filling.
Great value for money though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place in Dannevirke! Things are done with taste here. The food is amazing, the breakfast, lunch, desserts... Everything is soooo yummy !!! The Terrace outside is lovely, and you can even get your free range eggs for home. Never disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little vibey shop in danniverke. Was open early which is great for those people looking for a coffee and snack stop with a higher claibre than bp. Definitely recommend. Top tip it is easy to miss as it has a very small entrance but once your in, it's much large. nice indoor and outdoor seating. Photo is of outdoor, sadly didn't get a pic of the interior. Their muffins were okay, not the nicest but also not the yuckest. Great addition for danniverke

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely spot with a comfortable outdoor eating space. I ordered the seafood salad and it was delicious covered in their own spices and I heard the scrambled eggs were cooked very well too. Thanks for the yummy food.

Will point out covid signs were very visible and masks were worn, but their attitude to government mandates in regards to vaccine pass deserves to be reported. Staff were happy and polite to see the pass when provided but they will not ask and the signs located in the cafe prove the owners of this establishment along with the osteopathic clinic sharing the same premises don’t actually give toss. Worksafe now know if they didn’t before.
