The Golf Bunker uses Trackman, an indoor golf simulator, to analyze how you swing and improve your golf performance. You can also book out a time to play golf, sheltered from the Wellington weather.
About The Golf Bunker
Hi, I’m James, most people call me Jimmy. I had a great upbringing in Blenheim with 3 competitive and very sport-focused older brothers, plus two incredibly supportive parents. Sport has been part of my life from the very start. I moved to Wellington as a teenager where I played mostly Cricket and Football, predominantly in the Club scene.
My love of coaching bloomed when I took up CrossFit and soon began my coaching career. My love of data and numbers has always been part of my Corporate Career as an Accountant. Golf has also been a prevalent fixture in my life, particular interest sparking when I bet my oldest brother Joseph in a ‘closest to pin’ competition when I was 12 and he was 18 (sorry Joey ). With two beautiful kids aged under 2, the time I was able to set aside for golf got shorter and shorter. It was at this point I decided to fill a niche in the market and begin to set into motion what will become The Golf Bunker. Designed for people with little time, a love of the game, and a passion to get better.
