About me - Jo Douglas
My interest in healthcare began when I trained as a Pharmacy Technician on leaving school. Completing a Diploma in Zen Shiatsu in 2001 was the beginning of a new level of understanding about the influence our mental and emotional wellbeing can have on our health. Starting a family presented me with many opportunities to learn about other alternative and complementary therapies that can support us with health issues and lead me to also complete a Certificate in Relaxation Massage and become a Reiki Master and Bach Flower Practitioner. My own journey with overwhelming emotions as a new Mum and wanting to use natural remedies for my children to help them with colic, reflux, ear infections, eczema, food allergies and asthma was how I first became introduced to homeopathy.
I qualified as a Homeopath in 2014 and as well as being trained in Shiatsu, Reiki, massage, Bach Flowers and Quantum Essences I have around 25 years experience working in various pharmacies, herbal and homeopathic dispensary's and in August 2019 became the owner of The Bethlehem Health Shop. Since then I have trained in Quantum Reflex Analysis to offering health testing at the shop.
