★ ★ ★ ★ ★ really worthwhile! deep fried squid lovely and fresh with a nice light batter. loved the hor fun noodles. wonderfully crunchy fried won tan.
service in particular was really really good. Ken switched easily between english and cantonese and could discuss the menu in either language ....great job!
Phenix restaurant is a great place to eat in Rolleston.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has gone down hill so fast..the sweet and sour pork was small chewy scraps of???? I hope pork? The inside of the restaurant looks like one of the dirty bush inn Chinese restaurants. I had a small glimpse of the kitchen...card board boxes on the floor, rubbish bins over flowing with scraps...just nasty!!! Shame on you guys! You've lost our business for good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was fantastic. The cleanliness was great to see. Food was delicious but my only criticism was that I ordered the honey chicken and I didn't realise that that's all you get. I didn't get any rice. So when you order make sure you specify you also want rice. But the food was as I have already said delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros... Friendly service, seated quickly, entrees to table snappy, mains were big portions and tasted great, prices were cheap, i wouldve paid more tbh. Resturant wasnt busy, but still very clean and enjoyable tp eat in.
Cons... ahh thats gonna be tough.
