★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fantastic day at the Ashburton museum. We had two guides who took us all around. Had the local Ashburton Volunteer Fire Brigade showing us their amazing historical brigade memorabilia. Loved listening to the presentation on how the fire brigade started to what it is now. The Railway was fantastic. It was too wet to take the train out.
Visit, it is great. So much to see. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went as part of the Harley Owners Group, The Museum went out of their way for us and let us ride through, and they pulled the old Steam Train out so we could take photos. I highly recommend!, lots to see and do for all ages ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic day out, neat old trains that were $10 per adult and my kids were free (under 5) there was the old steam train running and a rail car, ticket is for unlimited rides on the day. Beautiful old buildings full of equipment there was also a good truck selling chips and donuts. Spent a nice afternoon there would recommend it for anyone with children!
