โ โ โ โ โ Hello, we have just had a unit in Epsom renovated by James and his wonderful team. The two-bedroom unit was a 1970's do up and he has lifted it out of the 70's ...giving it a glamorous high-quality appeal. This sure future proofs it for decades to come! From the moment you get in touch with James to completion; you feel like you are being listened too carefully, and his attention to detail and listening skills are amazing. Even happy to chat late evening. Nothing was too much trouble for a fussy and particular person like me! Not forgetting to mention his practical proactive approach. He has a wealth of knowledge in going through the options, which instils confidence in the many decisions that renovating presents.
Then he rolls it out stress and trouble -free as he sorts everything. His standards and quality are supreme...so you know you will be getting the best! He also offers suggestions to cater for everyone's budget and during the project many things come up that you will have to answer...but he will outline the pitfalls and benefits of each choice, holding your hand throughout. Plus if you are busy working people like us; James manages everything and makes the process smooth so you can get on with your work. James works along side a very helpful office person Pam and the go the extra mile providing proactive communication throughout... using what's app, emails, phone calls and this leaves you updated regularly. You will have a beautiful result complete with professional before and after photos. There are many extra jobs and gestures that he includes for free like tidying up the yard and fresh scent wafting in the bathroom. Even bubbles, a card and chocolates!! He is a gentleman...and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend you get The Renovation Team to do your next building project. We certainly will be looking forward to our next one with him! โ โ โ โ โ James and his team recently renovated a run-down apartment for me in Parnell. In summary they did a brilliant job. I hadn't used TRT before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I briefed them clearly on what I wanted and James listened carefully and made some excellent suggestions and contributions to the plan. He has loads of experience in this field and constantly added value to the project offering positive ideas that improved the property, saving time and money, and ultimately generating a high quality outcome that was really impressive! These guys know what they are doing! The finished product was superb and I now have an upmarket, modern, contemporary apartment renovated to a very high standard. This will rent very well. I must also compliment the trade team on the project as they were friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. And finally communication - James and Pam were great. They were in touch on a regular basis guiding me through the process and keeping me updated on progress (and any issues) and getting my input on key decisions. I highly recommend The Renovation Team for your next renovation project.

โ โ โ โ โ We were recommended using James and the renovation team from our draftsman and upon our initial meeting him we could easily make the decision of leaving our project within the renovation teams hands.
James and his team spent 10 weeks renovating our 1920s states house in One Tree Hill. We are so pleased with the outcome. They managed to turned our old fashioned home into a fresh, modern but classic useable space. We had a very strict deadline (our babies due date) and the team managed to beat it!
The renovation team work in your vacant home to provide you everything you asked for. We were sceptical about moving out for 10 weeks but it was so amazing to not have the stress of living amongst a Reno with small kids and knowing everything was ticking along.
James and Pam handled EVERYTHING. We didnโt have to do anything during the process except choose what we wanted. There was plenty of communication throughout the project. Pam kept us updated with what was going on each week and James offered us advice along the way, made suggestions we hadnโt even considered and went the extra mile to please us. We could tell they truly cared about our project and wanted to make sure we got the end result we wanted.
They also threw in a few extras for us and kept us under our budget. James knew our budget and made sure there were no surprises by the end of the project. This was so appreciated as we are a young couple with kids and we felt we could trust that James had our best interests at heart.
This was our first renovation and we feel that James and the renovation team went over and above to deliver our project on our very tight deadline and absolutely love our new space they created for us.

Right from the start the whole process was easy, James gave us some great insights and ideas on how to maximise the value and create a great home that we love living in.
We added a new bedroom for our growing family, put in french doors to our deck, installed a new high end kitchen, full ensuite reno and a few other improvements. All done to a fantastic finish - James is a perfectionist and he made sure the work was delivered to his high standard.
We have an older house and we hit a couple of unexpected issues along the way. James and the Team provided simple and creative solutions, they kept us up to date all through the process and delivered ahead of time and exactly to budget. James found a way to get us everything we needed done despite our limited budget โ Iโm still amazed by this!
We calculated we got more than $3 in added value for every dollar we spent on the renovation, even in the current weakened NZ housing market.
The whole process was fun and easy, we felt total confidence in James and his Team, and our friends and family are very impressed by the transformation to our home. I absolutely recommend James and The Renovation Team for any renovations and improvements, I canโt wait to buy our next place and get them onto the next reno for us!
