★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave a gentleman that I met on the plane a reasonably large donation to pass on to his Salvation army organisation. I trusted that there was no way he would pocket my kind offer. Not the person I met. We got off the plane and went to an eftpos machine in Wellington airport. A few days later I get a receipt and email acknowledging my generosity. This was not asked for. I am not religious but do appreciate some religious and non-religious organisations do amazing charitable work. This is one of them.
