The owners are the most down to earth people and are friendly and give a great overall service everytime!
Had my grandma's 90th here a couple years ago and they made her feel like the most royal queen.

The food was beautiful and the staff were very nice and obliging, though I believe for the amount of people that they expected to serve, they could have had more food at the ready, and double the staff as the queues were too long, and some foods not replenished timely enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently had our ball there. It was very hot, but they didn't turn the ceiling fans on, which I thought was a bit odd. The supper wasn't that exciting to be honest. Wasn't worth the $30+ they charged per head for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our work function last weekend at The Savoy. There were 157 guests who all left happy and well fed. Gorgeous venue and delicious food. Dan was very easy to deal with and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came by here for a conference dinner. The location is quite central, along the Octagon so it was fairly easy to get to.
The venue is quite large but there were quite a lot of people so there were tables around the front and back of the stage. We had a table around the back so it was hard to see much but it wasn't very loud, which was nice. Food was nice, the chicken was very juicy and the lamb was nice. Friend at another table, with a different sized table, said they didn't get enough food.
Quite a nice venue but would have been much nicer with fewer people.
