Appalling student services. Disrespectful and unprofessional. They kept harrassing me to send them further documents for my application, even though the deadline is 1 December. I asked them to hold processing my application for now. They agreed. Today, 24 October, more than a month before applications close, they sent me an email advising my application was not approved. Is this even legal?? Wow. To sum up, Univ of Auckland students services staff say one thing and do another. Do I want to study with this provider? Thanks, but no, thanks.

Spent 1 year here and had a fantastic timeβ€”stressful at times, of course. Great professors, hard-working students, and a tight community. Lovely campus in the heart of Auckland.

One of the biggest and most reputed universities around the world. Best place for studies for people who wants to have an international university with plenty of studies options. The variety of courses is huge and number of courses are available for students. The building and infrastructure of university is eye catching with number of different departments and different building for almost each department.

Top university in Auckland. Has 95% of its subjects has top ranking in New Zealand. The fees is high but the facilities and staff is amazing. Great environment for studies and they do ensure that students get best education and they are safe from bullies or racism. Fantastic place to study in Auckland.

How can you support Rod Jackson when all he does is promote fear in New Zealand. He claims to use science but it is clear he has not done the research or lacks interoperation and research skills.

I applied for BA of Architecture for this year, during my application, I asked a lot questions and asked for assistance and eventually to talk face to face. I think my attitude and my passion shows that I really want to study and that I really care about this study time, but the people who are in charge my application said they were not able to talk to me face to face in the beginning and later on, the woman told me that my application has been declined because there is no space left after I called them a lot, but in that time I should still be in the waitlist and the website shows that I had declined my own application which doesn’t make sense for me, I complained about her then she agreed to see me and saying that that is a technical issue and that she can put me back on the waitlist. She makes me feel that having too much passion and expectation or willingness to study is not a good thing. So what is the meaning of study then?

Most racist university in New Zealand. I've been hesitant to write this review, but decided to spread awareness by dropping my thoughts here. This is the most racist university in NZ and here's why: my application was declined all because I graduated from a high school from a different country. I graduated with a Cambridge A-level qualification with good grades and, let me say it again, got rejected just because it shows that my school was from another country. It seems that University of Auckland's admission is only pro-NZ because "they only accept NZ school graduates" . Even the University of Otago, the #1 university in NZ, was willing to accept me despite the country of graduation. Right now, I'm happily studying in a certain university in Albany, Auckland, whose lecturers and admissions staff accepted me without any bias and are giving me the best education directly linked with my career :)

I find the people at Auckland University very arrogant, self-centered, and rude. I wouldn’t say it’s a university that is culturally diverse and inclusive. As a student, all you have to do here is obey, memorize, and complete the exam with self-impressive effort. But these are all hallucinations. Test scores can only show your obedience, not creativity and leadership. Because innovation isn't encouraged here, or because it's crowded, it's hard for students who graduate here to make a difference.
