Service was great but the food was average. The caeser salad is just a massive bowl of lettuce unless you add the chicken and the lamb shank is pretty much all you get on the plate. 3/5

Seafood with spicy sauce with bread for dipping is still sticking to my lips. The sauce is amazing. The seafood is fine. One dish to recommend. Other menus are ok. Unluckily, it was showering when I was there, so, the plastic sheet the protects me from raindrops blocked my view. Not many people here, if you want to avoid busy crowds, you can come here.

Welcome service at the front was great, given the option to seat outside to see the viaduct (ended up meeting 2 friends as they passed by). Offered a blanket to my fiancΓ© as it was chilly outside. Starters were good. Garlic bread for my fiancΓ© and my seafood chowder was really good and fresh. My favorite though was the T-bone steak, a whole 400g of tender, juicy and well done beef, served with fries and garden salad was excellent!

Great service, unfortunately the food wasn't amazing. Hollandaise sauce wasn't house made and only served half a muffin on my eggs Benedict? Good location and great service. Three stars...

Terrible food and terrible service. Ten minutes between ordering a drink and it being served. Do not come here for a steak. The cuts of steak are very cheap. The scotch steaks were 50% gristle and heavily undercooked. There is a reason every restaurant around it is packed while it is not. Do not be tempted just because there are free tables Easily the worst restaurant within ten kilometers

We had a Christmas dinner at the Viaduct Grill and the first red flag should have been when I arrived, they were not prepared and did not have the table ready. They quickly moved tables together for us to be seated. Felt a bit like an after-thought, especially when you are prepared to spend more than a $1,000 at the restaurant. Second piece of bad news was when they did not have 3 out of the 6 starters available and only 1 out of the 3 beers on tap. Initially the manager was friendly and very accommodating when we wanted to move outside because the heat on the inside was unbearable. The waiter was very friendly as well. When you go to a grill, you would expect the chef to be able to cook a decent steak, however 3 of us ordered steak and all three were hopelessly overcooked. I ordered a Scotch fillet (medium rare) and what is supposed to be a juicy steak, was so overcooked that it tasted like a piece of leather. Even the fillet steak that was ordered medium done was cooked more than well done. I have to admit, it takes a certain level of incompetency to overcook a fillet steak. The onion rings side was dripping with oil and looked very unappealing. One of the guests ordered fish and chips and it was cooked to a point that the batter was a dark brown and very dry. Even the salmon was so overcooked that it was dry. I raised the issue and my disappointment in the food and how it was prepared with the manager and that was the last time she was friendly, in fact they stopped serving us and only waited for us to leave. All in all 3 out 11 people said they were ok with their food. They did not offer anything to even try and remedy the situation, only after we raised the issue with the manager again, she offered a very small discount. Hopefully this place will make way for a better restaurant with an owner and chef with a passion for food.

Nice venue. We had average service from one of the staff, kept bringing wrong food orders over to us. The other staff member was extremely apologetic both times it happened. They had only garlic bread for starters which wasn't great tasting at all. The pork belly had an odd flavour to it. My partner enjoyed the steak. I wouldn't come back. It's still over $100 for 2 people that is better spent on better tasting meals.
