★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in with a group of friends. I was the most sober one there and was only ordering soda and lime. I was asked to leave because I was ‘too inebriated’ so I did because I’m a nice person. On second thought, I should have asked the Manager why they deemed me too ‘inebriated’. Was it because I was only ordering cheap drinks or because I looked awkward at the bar? (Generalisations on my part). For someone with anxiety, it’s hard enough for me to go out, let alone go out where everyone is drunk and seems to be having a much better time than you. I feel like the manager grossly misjudged my demeanour based on my social anxieties rather than my actual conduct in the establishment. 0/10 - Would not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unprofessional staff. Didn’t let my group in because bouncer on the entry door had some personal problem with one of us. We all wanted a quite place to have few drinks but had to leave because bouncer decided not to let any of us in.
Thanks to lone star for a good night and recommend to everyone over tillerman

If you're visiting invercargill and looking for an awesome place to dance and drink, waxys has live bands and is free to get in :)
