★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really expensive for what it is. Don't get me wrong, it's still a little bit of fun, but you will leave there thinking more about the money you wasted rather than the fun experience you had.
It really shouldn't be this expensive. The games are average. The place is relatively small. And there were too many games broken or our of order.
You're kind of forced to take the arcade pricing, (pay for each game) rather than the time pricing ($30/60mins) because with the time pricing, albeit a good price, it only lets you play certain games, and they are the very basic games that isn't as fun but these were all the machines that were out of order or broken
If you want to get tickets to buy a toy, think again. Don't even try to get tickets or win them just for a toy, it's cheaper by far to just pay the dollar value at the shop, which again is far more expensive than what it's actually worth. Consider the tickets a by-product of the game similar to a 2c/l discount on fuel from your supermarket receipt. Yea cool you get tickets, but they're worth nothing.
Expect to pay around $100 for a bit of fun.
Timezone really need to look at their pricing before another competitor comes along with better games, more games that are actually working, and for far better pricing because if you look around at other cities they exist, and they do well. It's only time before it comes to Palmerston North.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much fun and such a wide range of games. I love the card system they have its fantastic. You can top it up and it has your record of money and tickets you have accumulated.
The prizes you can get in the story are so awesome as well. You can save your tickets up to get a good prize which is great for smaller Children who might take a while to a decent prize.
Great range of games.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Heaps of different games to play and the swipe card reader system is fantastic when paying and checking your balance. Times sure have changed from the old 80s arcades. The main difference is the price. Pretty easy too blow through a credit load of cash in under an hour. Definitely worth a visit.

It has a great range of games where the machines are well maintained, a wide range of prizes and awesome staff. I was helped by Artsy and Layla regarding double dollars not loading and they sorted it out really quick with great service and follow up email. Awesome service thank yous, can't wait to return!
