★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most majestic parts of the inner Kaipara Harbour. What spoilt it for me were the 40 Filipino fisherman, who were decimating & pillaging undersized fish from the wharf. There were at least 18 cars, tents set up, & wave after wave of them coming & going from 5.00pm to 8.00am the next morning. The authorities need to be notified as they are coming from out of Northland, & their fishing practices are definitely "Questionable" I know the locals of this beautiful seaside township have had a guts full of them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful place. It's just sad it does not have any shops there. Plenty of oysters and cockles. Wonderful for fishing. Absolutely loved it there.
