★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appalling lack of accountability from Toby's Roof and Gutter. After a partial rescrew, a section of our roof was leaking. When I asked Toby to check it, he told me I was imagining the drip. The next time it rained heavily the ceiling gave way, causing extensive damage. I engaged another roofer to sort it out and he said the screws had all been put in on angles and the leak was along the screw line.
I advised Toby of this and his response was that he didn't believe me, and that I should engage another roofer as clearly I didn't trust him. This company does shoddy work and Toby doesn't even have the integrity to sort out the problem, instead choosing to not believe the client and get offended and defensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pro's: Turns up on time, good communication, admin staff area great, seemed to do a good job.
Con's: Quotes based on whole job without including an hourly rate. In our case, the job took less time than originally thought so we ended up paying around $166 p/hour per technician (excluding other expenses and materials) which is crazy for a gutter repair job. Went back to Toby on this, but he wasn't willing to reconsider the cost of the job.
We have a car port that needs roof repair but at these rates, we wont go with Toby, its far to expensive and we felt ripped off.
If Toby's tech's are reading this, I suggest asking him for a raise!
