★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot. Food was ok, I wondered if having less things on the menu would mean food could be brought up to mouthwatering. The wait staff were fantastic, definitely a highlight of the place. The only massive negative was the elevator music playing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been to Tobys twice now and on both occasions it was great! We sat inside the restaurant on the first visit which had a great atmosphere and the food & service was really good! On the second visit we sat outside at the high top tables, we had drinks and a mixture of the sharing plates both options I would recommend! Will be back for sure & the wall heaters outside were a added bonus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here a couple of weeks' ago on a Sunday night for dinner and was sadly disappointed in the food.
Ordered the pie and steak. Steak on the menu is advertised as a 200gm steak but received two small steaks stacked on top of each other? Definitely not what you expect for a premium price meal! Pie filling was tasty but pastry was dry and chips were soggy.
Beer selection good, only one cider, didn't check the wines, setting is nice enough..
Sent a message with feedback and received no response - was hoping for a great new local as have heard positive things from others but not feeling inclined to give them another shot at this point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for our daughter's 16th birthday lunch. Everything was awesome from the staff to the food and drinks. A very memorable experience. Thanks Mike, Rachael & staff. Looking forward to going there again soon. Highly recommend AAA+++

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've spent lunch at a top restaurant on the Viaduct and here for dinner. All I can say is hands down, Toby's food is absolutely impeccable. We wasted half a day and twice the price on food in the CBD that was half the quality and taste. Why didn't I come here sooner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great meal at Toby's last night. New winter menu. We had Lamb Shank, Pork Belly, Fish and Chips (fish is Blue Cod), Steak & Guinness Pie, Chicken Cassoulet. All dishes and entrees cooked to perfection and tasty. Range of tap and bottled beer, and wines and spirits. Staff excellent.
