We employed Total Clean to perform a one off deep clean of our new house purchase. The communication and booking process was very smooth and the appointment was arranged easily. The cleaners arrived about an hour late. There was a walk through to check any special requirements etc. They started and overall their speed of work for 2 people was good by finishing a 300m2 home within 1 day. The quality of work was mediocre. Considering the house was empty with no furniture, there was just a general lack of detail and thoroughness to their work. 1-2 weeks later when we finally moved in we found that actually many services such as the top of drawers, the shelves in wardrobes, the tracks for sliding doors indoors and outdoors, the window lining boards were all not really cleaned even though this was agreed to in the initial inspection. Most of the all, the Oven, which we recently used for Xmas was absolutely filthy and we had to clean this ourselves twice (even though we haven't used the oven since cleaning). We paid a premium price (approx $1000) for a 5 bedroom home and overall the job wasn't what I expected. To then also find unclean areas in the following 2-3 weeks after moving into a new home was disappointing. If you are looking for an easy to book service and have a really small house then Total Clean might be what you are after, but for us the value is simply not there and the workmanship could have been 100% better. I know for a fact that I can do a better job myself now, and I won't be employing them ever again, or recommending them to anyone. Wasteful. EDIT: in response to the reply by the owner below. We only used the oven for Xmas, as normally we don't use it. It wasn't used by anyone because the house was empty except after the clean until we moved in. The assertion that your cleaners either did a good job or the customer is being untruthful/mistaken is incorrect and stupid. We have our own photos too and will be happy to share them with you if need them. Overall I would say that your cleaners do a good superficial job and on the surface on a walk around things look ok but it takes a while of living in a house of this size to recognize that a lot of details have been missed and the thoroughness and attention to detail is lacking. You can come up with excuses such as "why didn't we contact you etc.." but at the end of the day, for this price (more expensive than other cleaners), I think it's not an unreasonable expectation to get the job done right the first time. You can do what you like with the constructive feedback : either take it on the chin and improve your service or disregard it if you think we are truly being unfair. Either way, we won't be crossing paths with Total Clean again so no hard feelings.

Great communication with very friendly staff. I had some shelves with stuff in them that I said they didn't need to clean but they did it anyway! Great clean, great job. Will defs use again!

Awesome job, easy to deal with, I didn't book correctly but they didn't make a fuss - just altered the job to what needed to be done (more than I had requested) and got it done. Highly recommend

Professional, reliable and excellent cleaning. We have a regular house clean and Suborna and team is amazing , experienced and give a lot of attention to detail-they are highest quality cleaners. Highly recommend.

DO NOT under any circumstances use Total Clean Wellington - unfortunately I couldn't rate them a zero.. I booked a move out clean using the online quoting /booking system for a settlement day clean on a small townhouse. The online quote was for 5 hours and was competitive compared to other quotes I did online. The cleaners turned up as planned and phoned to say on inspection the job would in fact take 7 hours - 2 more than the online quote with no valid reason given. I asked for the Manager to phone me to help me better understand the difference between the online quoted amount. With no other choice, I agreed to the additional two hours & costs. The Manager said he'd "try and get the cleaners to return to the property"" - I had no idea they'd left the property (we were in the moving van heading to our new property) and expressed my concern that the house was left open, unattended and no cleaning had started. The Manager agreed to call me back once he had the cleaners back there. He then proceeded to text me that the cleaners were not returning to the property as they were 'scared of Covid' and then turned his phone off. Repeated calls to the Total Clean office went unanswered until finally somone from accounts picked up, but was unable to find us cleaners. Completely left in the lurch without apology. The online quoting system is a have - other reviews suggest this is common practice of not honouring online quoted amounts.

This is a truly appalling cleaning company. We received a quote for a two bedroom, two bathroom home, with oven clean as an added extra (around $90 extra). The quote detailed exactly the right number of rooms and the size of the property, so they had all the info. The cleaners came to the house, which was in move out condition - needed a good vacuum, wipe around the windows and bathroom clean. The second bathroom is never used and was cleaned for open homes, so was pristine. The cleaners walked around the property, left and said something to the effect of β€œwe’ll be back” and never returned. This was on the afternoon we were due to settle on the property and they never even said they weren’t coming back, so we were stuck with a house not yet cleaned and no time factored in to do it ourselves. They then never returned and eventually gave the excuse that it was because of covid when tracked down by my mother in law, who had paid to do the clean. She had let them know that we HAD been isolating, the period of which had finished three days prior to the scheduled clean. Don’t waste your money on this company, the clean would have taken my partner and I two hours at most, five hours were paid for with this company, though when they changed their minds and said seven that was not an issue and would have been paid. MIL was trying to do something nice to take something off our plates - this company made it unnecessarily stressful through lack of communication and incompetence. We then had to arrange another company to come and clean it the next day without issues - and luckily the purchaser was patient with us.

We work with Total Clean as Sub- Contractor and love working with them. What we most like about working with Total Clean is the transparent communication between clients and sub-contractors . Company gives us the job and then we listen and respond to client's requirements and special notes. We work independently but feel valued and supported by Company. We are specialized in regular, on off clean, and commercial clean. As sub-contractors we get chance to attend online workshops/ webinars through Company which help us to grow our skills time to time.
