★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A 'must' stopover for a refreshing scoop of fresh fruit ice-cream. A good and tasty variety with a charge of $5 per cone is a steal.
The place also has a small veranda with couple of round tables and a few chairs; just right for drivers for a pleasant break, going to the Coromandel of returning from the peninsula.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ice cream: I was travelling to Coromandel from Auckland and we were crossing Thames. We saw the ice cream board and stopped right there. We saw the menu and it wasn’t too pricy and service was amazing.
I have been to many, many ice cream shops all over the New Zealand. But this one is probably the best ice cream shop I have ever been to.
The fresh fruit ice cream is luxury, with many flavours and a tasting session before you start! Yes, it's a FRESH FRUIT ice cream shop, and it's also a kind of experience. They have around 10 flavours. I just had mixed berries with passion fruit and simple chocolate and it was very rich and flavourful.
A MUST TRY THING. :)
