★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is unfortunate that I write of my experience here. I love Roasts, as do many Kiwis. I arrived here at 8.40pm. Usual closing time is 9pm. The staff member was cleaning the Bain Marie with a spray bottle, whilst there was food still sitting there keeping warm. I ordered a roast serving of pork with mashed potatoes. The pork was sitting out on the bench & I ordered the veges least likely to have been 'sprayed' with windex cleaner! I only ate half the portion as it wasn't very nice at all. I was very ill overnight with awful stomach pains & several trips to the bathroom! I should be reimbursed however, I'm not keen for another meal from here after that! Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be one of the worst roasts we ever had. Got the large pork roast for hubby and me to share. Positives were the tasty gravy. Luckily I bought extra as without it the food would have been very bland. Pork dry and over cooked. Pumpkin and kumara boiled and not roasted and have lost their natural taste. Won't go there again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wouldnt recommend, gravy had no flavor, roast beef dry, potatoes not the best. This roast shop was recommended to us and we drove from Albany. Wont be going back, even the kids didn't eat it
