★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for a chicken sandwich (comes with lettuce and gravy). The meat and gravy was delicious (cut straight off a fried drumstick). It would be nicer if they used a better bread - just cheap white bread. But I wouldn’t expect more for $6. Also it said on the menu that it comes with salad but it was only lettuce. This should be clearer. The staff were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roast lamb tasted more like Chinese stir-fry than it did lamb, and was very dry. Sandwiches were on stale bread, no Marge or butter, just old looking salad, and stale bread. Potatoes were alright, but cold. Chicken was good though. Reading other reviews, it seems what day and time you go matters to get the food hot and tasty. The meals were a decent size, but the quality of the food just wasn't there unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional roast more like ancient roast, pork was dry and brittle with the portions slime to none, I asked for a bit more Kumara at which the owner esponded " U this A st John charity" id give it no stars if possible, if your looking for a roast i recommend deli roast, service with a smile, and the owners a expert when it comes to the combination of gravy and apple sauce with lamb ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another Traditional Roast fast food outlet run by a husband and wife. The portions are huge and roast pork excellent. This Tradition Roast Company also does a good desert of icecream and prunes! Would definitely recommend this place for a cheap family eatery
