About Trinity Reformed Baptist Church
Ryan trained as a lawyer but since God graciously saved him in his second year of law school he dreamed of becoming a pastor. Following graduation, a brief stint working for the Government, and training as a pastoral intern he was finally called as an Associate Pastor for a Reformed Baptist Church in Wellington. Then in 2017 Trinity called him as their pastor which he joyfully accepted. In his spare time he enjoys reading non-fiction, listening to music and spending time with his family.
Sam has lived in New Zealand his whole life and attended church most of his life. While living in Wellington at the age of 22 God revealed the grace of the Lord Jesus in the message of the gospel to him. He is now a husband and father of three sons, having attended Trinity since moving to Hamilton in 2012. He works in the building industry and having served as a deacon at Trinity was called into eldership in 2022. He enjoys spending time with his family, walking and the outdoors.
Scott was born and raised on a Northland sheep and beef farm and moved to Hamilton for University in 1998 and studied sociology/anthropology and a graduate diploma in marketing. He met his wife Angela there and started a career in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sales in 2005. Over his adult years the Lord has convicted him and his family in the Gospel and the means of grace in a local Christ-centered church and they have been attending Trinity Reformed since 2017, has served as a deacon and was called to the eldership in 2022. Scott enjoys time with family and friends especially around a charcoal BBQ, and loves to get out fishing.
Nelson was born and raised in Malaysia. He was graciously saved by God while studying college in the UK. He completed his study in Auckland and currently works as a doctor. Since moving to Hamilton in 2016, he has been attending Trinity. He was recently called as a deacon and treasurer at Trinity. He enjoys reading, music and learning to pilot small planes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this group of believers. The preaching points us to Jesus Christ, His perfect life, finished work on the cross, resurrection, and future return. The singing/music lifts the roof in praise to God, the saints do the 'one anothers' for one another ie. love one another, pray for one another, serve one another... a family in love with our Lord Jesus Christ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Religion has been used to attract people for music or anything that you can get out of or to feel good at.
This church focuses on the Scripture and how much I need a Saviour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to one of the evening services. Pretty standard songs from memory, the young pastor seemed to me to have some pretty inexplicably random political views. Seemed to think the government shouldn't get involved with the friendly affairs between men, let's say. I'm like, "that's what the Bible says" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
