β β β β β Quite disappointed with the way my last query was handled...
I took an appointment for my car's wof a day before ANZAC Day 2017. A guy over the phone booked it for next morning 10am. I however got a call from the vendor (Naresh) an hour before my appointment to inform that it has been moved to 1:30pm as the business is going to open at 1pm due to the ANZAC Day. Fair enough β I went on to the service centre at 1:30pm and, to my surprise, found it closed! When I called the vendor, he said that the business is closed for the day as his staff hasn't turned up. I mean how difficult it is to confirm with your staff beforehand and then communicate to your appointed customer that the appointment will have to be postponed!
I live around the eastern suburbs of Wellington city and drove all the way to the service centre at Petone (Lower Hutt) just to see that my appointment has been cancelled without any advance notice. Why? ...because "the boys didn't turn up."

β β β β β Tried to buy 4 tyres from the Petone store, rang up and guy said to email for quote. Emailed, got no response, rang up again, guy sounded pretty unhelpful said he's in the workshop and he'd get round to it, emailed to follow up, over a week later no response. Terrible customer service and communication, how you're supposed to buy tyres from this place I'll never know - rang up another place round the corner who were super helpful and all done easy as. Will not be getting anything done at this place, waste of time.

β β β β β Excellent service. Brakes quoted were half the price of another shop down the road. Had WOF done here. Honest genuine guys working in the shop. Today I came to get a tyre puncture repair done, and they do this for free. A true gem in Petone.

β β β β β Very good place to get your car serviced, cheap affordable prices & the staff are quite informative and polite if your car needs any attention. There is a bakery right next door with seating out the front if you have no where to go and wait otherwise theres a nice quiet waiting area in tubbys tyres connected to reception. Spot on. My go to from now on!

incorrect fitting of tyres on vehicle, did not balance or use weights.
but charged for this service. i would not go back
i had to go somewhere else to get tyres fitted correctly. who confirm incorrect fitting and was unsafe to drive.
do not go there especially if you have a 4WD with big tyres

β β β β β Poor customer service and an absolute ripoff. I was quoted a certain amount over the phone and a timeframe for the service. It took nearly 3 times as long as it should have without any communication at all from him when I was very clear that I needed to return to work afterwards. I was also overcharged and given some poor excuse regarding the parts - there should have been no issue with the parts as I provided details about the vehicle the day before. All in all an absolute disaster from start to finish. I will be returning to PitStop who do a great job - I only went here based on the recommendation of a friend and it was closer, I regret that decision. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. (PS I never leave reviews but felt I needed to in this instance)
