★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great playground and picnic ground for kids and adults. Take your bike and ride a round the bike lane. Parking for everyone. Dog must be on a leash, dog are not aloud everywhere on reserve

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool little park, tucked away off the main road for little bods to enjoy. A variety of different obstacles to tackles and caters for all ages (with a small, original playground still available for the super young ones). Still traffic around as the playground is surrounded by a one way road and no barriers as such to stop them wandering. Great find though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for the whole family. The playground is popular with all ages and possible for big people to play with their kids on equipment too. The sight was an old theme park back in the late 1800s and then in modern day it was a caravan park and now it is not. There's a bridge across to westwave pools Henderson. There's nice flat straight paths to skate and ride on which lead to te atatu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic! Plenty for the big kids to enjoy and an area for the little ones, too (although the park is definitely better suited to older children). LOVE the shade, the plentiful spots for Mum and Dad to sit, and the beautiful park setting with picnic spots nearby. We’ll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alway a very good place to take the kids for a play around. The playground is well set out and always clean and tidy.
Lots to climb on and we'll set out. Love the flying fox and the trees and seating. Parking can be hard at peak times but usually good.
Wave pools are just 100m away across the foot bridge and there are fields next door for sports etc. Cool as spot
