★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bright and clean business. Always tidy and friendly staff. A great variety of products for just $2 or less. From a pack or spoons, shoe boxes, birthday things, slime, stationary, hooks, baby stuff. So many different items and nothing over $2!
Big aisles and enough room for everyone to look around in peace without having to move. Workers are always restocking shelves and when you ask for a product they are knowledgeable and tell you if they do or don't have it. Make sure to hold your receipts if you need a refund, as with any business, proof of purchase is necessary, however I did see an old man return to get a phone charger exchanged without a receipt, but he was warned to have it next time. Overall this place is an A and is good when you only have $2 and you want to get a toy for your kid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here a few times but the last time I went, I didn't really enjoy the service. The lady asked if I wanted a bag and automatically scanned it, told her no and then she started speaking in her language to the other staff member. All I'm assuming from that is that I am being judged because I don't want to buy a bag. Anyway, I recommend the staff need to learn more about customer service and understand that it's rude to speak in a different language when you are serving customers. Can't help but to judge customer service due to being in the service industry for a long time. It wasn't just that though, it was the attitude of the lady as well and like she was just there to do her job and scan items but really, your job is mainly customer service. Could be that they are located in Mangere and they feel that it's not important? Wrong! No matter where your business is located, customer service is essential as it is your customers that ensure your business is still there. I would recommend the Otahuhu store compared to this one as the service there and staff understand customer service more! I hope to see improvements in future.
