About Undercover Industries Limited
Extend your shade and shelter when you need, and retract it when you don’t – with an Undercover Lateral Arm Awning System. We manufacture our aluminium retractable awnings in Tauranga and install for customers in Mt Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puke and right throughout the Bay of Plenty.
Undercover Lateral Arm Awnings are made from high quality aluminium and stainless steel components. Combined with top of the line Docril acrylic canvas fabric which is durable, UV resistant, waterproof and long lasting, promoting a 10 year fabric guarantee. Our awning skins are cut on a CNC plot/cut machine to ensure 100% accuracy. Docril fabric is available in 132 different colours, The aluminium componentry of our awnings can be powdercoated any colour of your choice, ensuring your new addition to your deck or patio can blend seamlessly into its surroundings.
Undercover Lateral Arm Awnings are available in a semi cassette Horizon Monobloc option or a Fetuna full cassette option. Both the Horzion Monobloc and Fetuna Cassette Awnings can be manually operated or automated via top of the line Somfy automation controlled by the Somfy app, handheld remote, wind and motion sensors. Automated awnings allows for fast retraction when the weather turns unsavoury.

We had a very tight timeline for Gavyn and his team to work with due to an event we were hosting in less than a months time from the initial booking, but this didnt seem to matter one bit as he locked us in with an install date and kept me updated during the fabrication process which is a big + in my books..
