Consultation and service was great. Kitchen flatpak arrived on time for installation. Pantry door panel proved faulty (split formed in lacquer) but this was replaced without hesitation and quickly. After the bench top was installed it came to our attention that the bench supplier had inadvenrtantly left the cut edge raw but instead of the hassle of returning the bench top to be fixed, the sales consultant did it on site for us.

The initial order, purchase, and receiving of the product was great. After sales service leaves alot to be desired. Same feedback as everyone else - phonecalls remain unanswered and no replies to messages. Emails also remain unanswered. First issue we had, got solved by going through the company in Auckland. We now have another issue that I am trying to get sorted - 3 non answered emails and counting. 3 issues with three separate cabinets - you get what you pay for. Go to Mitre10 or Bunnings - at least that way you have a Nationwide company to follow up with.

The team in the showroom were excellent and always tried to be helpful. However, when it came to managing the delivery and returns of the cabinetry, Valuepak were poorly organised and unable to communicate delivery timings. It seemed to us that they had little interest in resolving questions or being able to manage their supply chain so our project took a lot longer than it should and leaving a bitter taste to our new kitchen :(

The only positive of working with this company was the presales process, during which the consultant met with us and drew up some designs of our kitchen. She knew the product well and we were happy with the designs. The delivery, installation and follow-up, however, was an experience marred by poor organisation, unprofessionalism, rudeness, poor communication, and even lies, that dragged on for months. The benchtop came weeks later than expected (leaving us without a functioning kitchen during that time), we were missing a cabinet door, one of the drawers was wobbly because of missing bolts, and we were missing several feet to list just a few of the problems. While most of the issues were eventually resolved, the missing door never was. In trying to resolve the door we were persistently lied to and then eventually met with silence. Staff were often rude, defensive, or told us what we wanted to hear so we would stop bothering them. We had to source the door ourselves from a different vendor, Kitchen Cabinets and Stones Ltd, which I would recommend over Valuepak. The product is great. Just go with a different vendor. Don't deal with Valuepak.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY the customer service is a disgraceful for this day and age, the owner talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk, he promises things then doesn't deliver, and trying to get a refund from him is impossible. We got our kitchen delivered 6 weeks early just in case there was something wrong, well there was quite a bit that was wrong!! and for him to get new parts to swap over he has to order them from Auckland, which took forever to come down. We had to put our flooring off being laid a couple of times and in the end we just said to the flooring people put the floor in and we will have to work around the kitchen and wait for the parts that were missing to put them in when they came. To this date which is 3 months later we still have things to return that are his due to the swap overs and are waiting for a refund, this guy is a joke and doesn't care at all, thank goodness to for the sister company up in Auckland they have helped us this last 6 weeks in trying to sort out our kitchen for us which is now fully in. Thanks to the sister company and a big thumbs down to this company !!!!!

After 18 months, I needed to have 2 drawer fronts replaced due to the lamination breaking up on drawers near the oven. By the 3 year point I have 6 more drawers and cupboards delaminating near the oven and above the kettle. They clearly can't stand the heat and should get out of the kitchen!

We're thrilled to bits with our new kitchen. Richard and Vanya made it a much smoother project than we expected, and helped to solve hiccups with project scheduling of other contractors with intelligence and grace. We appreciated Richard's expert advice on construction and on the use of our space, and were pleased with Vanya's project management. The (nearly) finished product looks wonderful -- we're still waiting for the splashback. We have a space for everything, and (nearly) everything in its place. It works like a dream.

We are very happy with and love our new kitchen. There was some miscommunication, however, it was relatively minor and sorted out rapidly between us. We think some of these things are to be expected, that is part of home renovations. We admired Richards obvious skill set and 'old school' approach, and appreciated that our ideas were listened to and suggestions were made. Thankful we made it through a kitchen install unscathed!!!
