★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dave recently played at our wedding at Tawharanui Lodge and I hiiighly recommend him. We absolutely loved him. We asked him to play the ceremony and canapes and we got so much more than what we asked for! He turned up early to jam while the guests arrived and set the scene immediately. I remember hearing him while I was getting ready in our room and said "is that our musician? He's f*ING awesome!". Dave nailed our ceremony song playing it way better than the original. And with 3 days notice he also added two new songs to his set list for us and absolutely nailed them too. He sets a chilled summer vibe and plays amazing music you love but with his original touch making it even better. He's also just a really nice guy. We loved having him at our wedding and so many of our guests told us how good they thought he was too. Thank you so much Dave, I can't wait to get our wedding videos so I can hear you play again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Velvet Tones played at my wedding and wow they really know how to get a crowd going! Everyone was on the dance floor and we had so many guests tell us after the wedding how awesome they thought the music was. They played a varied selection of tunes which meant there was something for everyone :) I couldn't recommend them enough! Thanks so much again David & Co for an unforgettable night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dave and the lads really made our wedding day. It was truly the full package and they were dynamic and flexible to suit our venue and set up. Our guests couldn't get enough, and they put on a heck of a show! I would pay $$ to go see them live at a venue.
Don't even think twice about hiring the Velvet Tones, they are professional, genuine performers who love a good time. 10/10.
