★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great jewellery and beads here to buy, perfect and affordable presents, they also sell amazing fudge. When I was younger I used to come here for jewellery making classes and made a range of necklaces and bracelets and even a Christmas Angel around Christmas time. Would recommend.

A demonstration class 8n progress when I visited today to purchase a few beads to go towards my Melbourne ? Cup outfit!
Not only beads in store, but hats and fudge! Well worth a visit and supporting local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Village Beads is a great shop in the middle of Petone. There is a huge selection of materials for you to make your own jewellery and plenty of ready-made items to buy, too. The owner and staff are really helpful so you don’t need a lot of skill to make or repair your own jewellery.

I could spend hours looking at all the different beads, there are so many. Have brought a variety of different high quality beads from Village Beads and I am very happy with all my purchases.

After a few prompt and friendly emails with Debbie, my husband took the necklace in to be repaired and they did it for him on the spot, and it cost us less than $5 - he spent more on the beautiful fudge than he did on the necklace repair! I am so happy with the level of customer service we received, both via email and in the store. Thank you so much for everything - the communication was so quick, friendly and helpful, the repair was efficient and inexpensive, and the fudge was incredibly delicious!
