★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Bad receptionist!!! (Chinese Family Doctor who hires a English Only Speaking Receptionist XD) extremely rude and extremely incompetent and a liar asked for 2 appointment only took down 1 and hanged up i called again and ask for to get second appointment and she yelled at me saying i already made it so i try to confirm if it's 2 instead of 1 she yelled again you only said 1 which is a lie then i said can i please make the second one then she says hurry up then quit wasting my time i'm busies as is right now don't need you wasting my time to.(fire her already look at all the reviews is making your place look bad just because of her)(good doctor though)
zzzzz even all that i still recommend Dr Franklin Fung very good hearted doctor good person he even do home visits

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been with VSFD for 3 years before moving to Taupō recently. I wanted to give my vote of thanks to the staff at the clinic. I was always treated with respect and in fact the clinic felt more like family than staff. Phyllis would always enquire about my children and how things were progressing with my home in Taupō. Dr C tended to be a bit ‘direct’ but his prognosis, always on point. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to this practice ever since I was a kid, but the thing that pisses me off is the receptionist. She is outright rude and has no respect for anyone. On multiple occasions she would finish talking and hang right up on me whilst I was still talking.
If she can't handle being busy or under the pressure then just quit and hire someone more competent. I'm surprised she is still in the job, the doctors are outstanding and I've had no issues over the years. Honestly considering changing GP's because of how unpleasant it is to make a booking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t know what all these bad reviews are on about. The receptionist is lovely!!! She is ALWAYS very accommodating, ALWAYS interested in myself and my family and very affordable compared to all other doctors around howick! Doctor Williams is very thorough and knowledgeable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Fung is a very patient and attentive doctor, no qualms with his practice. The receptionist however makes me brace myself whenever i call or visit. She is condescending at best and outright rude and aggressive at worst. I was waiting for an hour and asked if i had been forgotten and got aggressively shut down like i was a misbehaving child, it was another 45mins before Dr Fung realised i was waiting and the receptionist didnt say a word or apologise. During my hour n 45 of waiting i saw her treating patients just as abruptly and rudely, particularly to the chinese patients. Like i get cultural differences and language barriers but if you are working in healthcare or any kind of customer service this is atrocious behaviour. It's 2022 for god's sake. Sack her and get a more effecient receptionist that treats people with basic respect .

Obviously registered people are the only ones who get respect and fair treatment. These are obviously the ones who leave good reviews
