★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for camping right next to the beach. Lots of room and a good mix of campers. The coast is worth exploring. I went 7kms North to the Waitotara river mouth. Well worth the walk with lots of bird life and unique scenery along the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome campsite, very well kept. Nice and clean!! Respectful campers, lots with trail bikes and quads, but nobody making a nuisance of themselves with them. The only downer was the wind!!! I expected some being on the coast but yea got a bit too much. Tried surfcasting, lost my gear on the rocks lol. Best check the beach out at low tide to see where the best rock free spots are! Will return in summer.
