Since the 1960’s the Waikanae Boating Club has been operating on the shores of beautiful Waikanae Beach on the Kapiti Coast, arguably one of the most beautiful West Coast boating waterways in New Zealand.
Serving its members and the greater local community, The Waikanae Boating Club has built an enviable reputation as one of New Zealand’s premier fishing clubs.
A spirit of kinship and camaraderie has always been evident at our Club and continues to evolve. We welcome not only those who own a boat but also those members who just want to socialise and enjoy the Club’s atmosphere. All members visiting the Club enjoy sensational views of the Kapiti Coast, Waikanae Beach and the stunning beautiful Kapiti Island whilst enjoying refreshments from the bar and relaxed dining at the Galley restaurant.

Waikanae Boating Club provides excellent facilities with occasional live entertainment, local community and business meetings, conferences and personal functions. Waikanae Boating Club is the ideal location for your next function. First class catering, friendly professional staff and the most stunning view will ensure your function is a success.
The Waikanae Boating Club/Galley Restaurant operate from Licensed Premises and are for the use of Financial Members and their guests who must be signed in via the Guest/Visitors book provided. The Club facilities are not open to the General Public.

β β β β β This has to be Kapiti coasts best kept secret! I cannot thank the staff enough for their can do attitude and their outstanding attention to detail! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and the food was amazing! I rate this restaurant and bar one of the best Iβve been too! I Had to go back the next night for dinner, to be sure and was not disappointed! Thank you Evie, Hannah and Al and your wonderful staff for all you did to make my Sisters wedding amazing! Iβll be back next time Iβm in NZ!
