About Wairarapa Wedding Photographer - Gabrielle Drummond
I graduated with an Advanced Diploma with Merit in Photography from the Universal College of Learning in Palmerston North in 2005. While studying I was awarded one bronze and two silver awards from the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers (NZIPP). Since graduating, I have been running my own business in the Wairarapa as a commercial photographer, fine arts photographer, and wedding photographer.
My Wedding Photography Style
I love photographing weddings and I specialise in what I’d describe as a natural story-telling style of wedding photography, combining traditional posed photos with pictures taken in a photo journalistic style. Every wedding is unique with its own style and mood and it’s my responsibility to capture that through the photographs that I take.
I would love to tell the story of your wedding day and capture the emotional highlights through my lens. Your album of wedding photographs will be one of the most lasting elements of your special day for years to come.
From our first meeting to where we talk about the photographic possibilities, through to the happiness of the actual event, and on to when we sit down and go through the final shots to see how amazing you looked – it’s all so enjoyable. It is such an intimate time and such an honour for me to be able to capture your day.
