★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love it. its a great place to take family and friends to play all sorts of sports activities . There's even an area to put down a hangi. WAY TO GO COMMUNITY..May I suggest lights be installed during night time? 4 n half stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walter Nash Park is amazing now. The paths have all been updated and resealed. It is always looking tidy and safe. Many people are using the park for exercise and recreation. There are many toys and sport equipment available for children to use during the week. It is a great place to meet and connect with people. I love visiting the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous fully mature specimen trees, perfect for picnicking under, line the path which winds past the pristine croquet lawn and around to a small gate which allows entry to the courts. Here you come upon a tiny community house full of wonderful people sharing kai and kōrero, and alongside, a massive toy box in the form of a cheerfully painted shipping container, which allows members of the community to choose toys to borrow and use at home! Such a welcoming atmosphere. I did not venture beyond the little house, tea, scones and company were perfect, but I will return to explore further another day ❤️

Playground area for children. Public outdoor sports courts, basketball hoops, netball hoops, volleyball net, walking and bike paths. Information office located on the sports courts with helpful staff (available during information office opening hours) Kids play activities (public restroom during information office hours. Play equipment hire during office opening hours. Coffee, tea and chat available during information office opening hours) Sitting and picnic area. Field area with goal post. Beautiful local art works. Large picnic table located under mature trees on playground area.
