But the delivery charge is high,
Tried to buy some timber in lockdown sent two emails and several phone calls, never did get a reply, went to Bunning's they were a lot cheaper, it was very disappointing as we had spent a lot of money there in the last year,

There pricing is also that much cheaper.
Why go anywhere else!

The process of purchasing was not simple, though once you get engaged with the people they seemed welling to help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great wee local business that really knows how to look after their customers no matter if you buy a pallet-load or two planks of wood. Nothing is ever a problem and staff are super friendly and helpful. Timber prices are 30% lower than leading DIY shops. Their website is a bit basic, but if you rock-in you’re sure to find what you are looking for.

Prices are NO LONGER competitive and timber is low grade .
As a tradie that makes daily purchases i expect better than this.
Will shop elsewhere from now on...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful if you get timber delivered, check every piece individually before accepting. We bought a bunch of hardwood decking timber and they deliberately packed the inferior damaged timber in the middle, so it was surrounded by the higher quality timber. We therefore didn't see the damage until we already signed for it and were unpacking the timber later. They're now ignoring our emails so we're stuck with a bunch of unusable timber that we paid good money for. Buyer beware.
