 Ancient bus with worn gray leather seats. It stank of sweat and dog. In return, the driver was very friendly and we arrived on time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the 11th of January we witnessed some of the most dangerous driving by a public operator I have ever seen on the alpine highway. Firstly this bus tailgated a white rental van through the Kumara bush and then proceeded to overtake on a blind corner only to be met head on by a silver ute who had to take evasive action and drive off the road with his horn blaring to avoid a tragedy! The bus then continued well over the operating speed limit! The owner should be ashamed of himself as he is the first to jump up and down about other road users and he was the one driving so can't blame anyone else! Save yourself the danger and take another travel option. Hopefully the ute driver reported this to the police!
