★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a special place this is. Amazing hosts who really go above and beyond with their service. There is some interesting things to checkout on site as well including a Fully restored water wheel, aviary with budgies and a beautiful garden area with chickens and ducks. Recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overnighted here in this 1860 historic pub (now a B&B) while on the Alps 2 Ocean cycling trail. An excellent place to stay with great hosts and fantastic meals. A great addition to our trip. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only spent one night with John and Lynda but it was just incredible. This was my first "holiday" with the kids and they just loved the place. They have chickens, ducks and dogs which made the kids very happy, especially when they made a point to get the kids to help feed them. The house is amazing it looks like something you would expect 100 years ago with gorgeous ornate wooden furniture. As hosts they were incredible, it was a stinking hot day but asked if we wanted the fire lit for the evening (guests from oz think it's cold), the cottage was great with heaps of spare blankets and a nice big shower. They also had a TV with Netflix and prime for when you're so munted you just wanna lie in bed with a movie. The breakfast felt like a banquet with so many options. As another reviewer mentioned they gave a lot of history of the area and even wrote me a 2 page list of the places to take the kids in the area. I'm glad I didn't cheap out and camp, they made our stay so relaxing and eventful. Thank you for the awesome weekend.
